Teach, Think, or Lead Like Jesus

Or Jesus for Profit
Would you like to Think Like Jesus, Lead Like Jesus, or Teach Like Jesus?

Authors and promoters of “—like Jesus” books, seminars, and products are very willing to help you learn to do things like Jesus. They have created and solved a problem which only they or their products can solve; bypassing the Bible and making themselves rich.

To them, Jesus is a great teacher, a great leader and administrator, and a way to make money, but not the Saviour of mankind.

“And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you…”—2 Peter 2:3

Jesus the Saviour sends His Holy Spirit to believers to guide and direct them through His Word. Jesus is our wisdom to be what He wants us to be…not what we think we want to be like.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you…”—1 John 2:27

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”—John 15:4

Also from the BOOK:

“…your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”—1 Corinthians 2:5

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
—Hebrews 12:2

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
—Luke 9:23

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”—Matthew:29,30

I want Jesus to lead me; I like where He is taking me:

“For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”—Revelation 7:17
