The Real Presence in the Eucharist: American Evangelization Through Media

God’s WORD

    “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”—Psalm 118:8

    “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud,
    knowing nothing…”—1 Timothy 6:3, 4

“For the new evangelization to be effective, it is essential to have a deep understanding of the culture of our time in which the social communications media are most influential…knowledge and use of the media…is indispensable”.—John Paul II

Evangelization through media, Ecclesia in America, John Paul II

    72. Using the media correctly and competently can lead to a genuine inculturation of the Gospel…initiatives to make the Gospel effectively present…

    the training of pastoral workers for this task;

    the support of high-quality production centers;

    the careful and effective use of satellite and other new technologies;

    teaching the faithful to be “critical” in their use of the media;

    joining forces in order to acquire and manage new transmitters and TV and radio networks, as well as coordinating those already in operation…

    Business people should be encouraged to provide economic support for quality products promoting human and Christian values. 278

    The Institute for World Evangelisation established Millennium Films International (MFI) to proclaim the “gospel” through the distribution
    of the film JESUS.

Millennium Films International

    The International Office of the Institute for World Evangelisation,
    in Rome since the summer of 1998, is also the main headquarters of Millennium Films International.

    Millennium Films International has translated the film in various languages. Our goal is to reach every nation, tribe, people and tongue, helping them see and hear the story of Jesus in a language they can understand…

    [JTB comment: Is this the Jesus of the Bible?]
