The Real Presence in the Eucharist: Evangelization of America through Politics

God’s WORD

“But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and
the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.”
    —Jeremiah 10:10

“For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.”
    —Jeremiah 16:17

“Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men…For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.”—Proverbs 4:14, 17

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in
whom there is no help.”—Psalm 146:3

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while
some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and
pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
    —1 Timothy 6:10

“For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.”—Hebrews 13:14

from Ecclesia in America: The Way to Conversion, Communion and Solidarity in America, Pope John Paul II, Mexico, 1999

The content of the education they impart should make constant reference to Jesus Christ and his message as the Church presents it in her dogmatic and moral teaching.

Only in this way will they train truly Christian leaders in the different spheres of human activity, and in society, especially in politics, economics, science, art and philosophical reflection. 267

The goal of this next-to-last post regarding the Ecclesia in America of Pope John Paul II, is to show that the Roman Catholic Church and its related groups, both obvious and secretive ones, are very much intertwined with US politics and our government leaders.

While there may be some people that are true believers, the so called fundamentalist right wing of our government has many Roman Catholic influences from the RC Church itself, Knights of Columbus, Opus Dei,
Knights of Malta, and the many ecumenical groups, to mention a few.

The Fellowship Foundation which puts on the National Prayer Breakfast
wears a cloak of Evangelicalism, but on closer look, it is very ecumenical
and it too has a number of Roman Catholic influences, and political goals.

I have found much research regarding the influence of the Roman
Catholic Church on politics (like the pope advised) and have posted
the following links on my areyouaware site.

Red Mass, Blue Mass

Since 1952, many of our own United States government leaders have annually celebrated the Roman Catholic Red Mass for judges, prosecutors, attorneys, law school professors, students, and government officials on the Sunday before the opening session of the Supreme Court.

The Red Mass includes a “lecture” (homily) on how to vote the “Roman Catholic” way, and the Eucharist [eating the real body of Jesus and drinking his real blood], which is presumably just for the Roman Catholics in attendance. The Red Mass is now celebrated annually in more than half the states of the United States.

Opus Dei (God’s Work) Posts
Joseamaria Escriva felt his Opus Dei (a rather secretive group) group was to help “ordinary” people attain holiness by their good works.

“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
    —Ecclesiastes 12:14

“Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe…”—Romans 3:22

This is a very unnerving post. Opus Dei folk think pain and suffering make you holy.
