O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.—Isaiah 25:1.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:—Isaiah 26:3, 4.
It is closing in on three years since I last posted on this site. I received an email from Julie C. (see below) today and thought I would write a very short update.
I appreciate Julie’s (and others) encouragement and I wanted to let Julie know that I have continued to be in the “good fight,” but that it has been incredibly intense at times.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.—Ephesians 6:13.
The battle is real, but the Lord is faithful. And sometimes all you can do is stand.
|Ok, well, I cannot even begin to thank you enough for doing so much homework on Tozer and for knowing God’s word so well.
I had been led to believe that Tozer was a trustworthy source namely by the Berean Call….so this is troubling. Although, I must say that shortly after I became a Christian, I tried to read one of his books but had such a hard time understanding it that I figured it was because of my lack of Bible knowledge. Now, I praise The Lord for protecting me from harm!
I also want to encourage you to get back into the good fight because we all need each other and desperately. I understand that you need to be there for your family first though.
My children are now in their mid-twenties and praise The Lord I do have more time for studying. And praise The Lord, He must be coming soon!
Lord bless you and keep you,
